Chavez Brothers Vineyard is located in Socorro County, in Sabinal, New Mexico about 9 miles south of the Chavez Winery. Our grapes are grown in the oldest wine region in the U.S., dating back to 1629. We grow Chancellor and Vidal Blanc, our signature Varietals. New varieties are being added yearly.
The Chavez Brothers are pleased to bring you their wonderfully crafted wines from grapes grown in the Middle Rio Grande Valley. Located on Main Street in Belen, NM, the Chavez Brothers Winery
allows for a small, discrete event or an intimate sampling with the Chavez Brothers staff and
boasts a rich, comfortable interior.

Chavez Brothers Vineyard, Inc. is owned and operated by Freddie Chavez and brother, Will Chavez. The vineyard was purchased in 2014 after the brothers had traveled to Spain and Portugal exploring possible vineyard opportunities. They decided to buy a New Mexico vineyard after finding that New Mexico started its grape growing and wine industry around 1629 in the Socorro area.
The Chavez Brothers Vineyard is located in Socorro County, in the Middle Rio Grande Valley, about 8 miles south of Belen, NM. The grape vines are Vinas Viejas; old vines that are well over 25 years old and produce high quality, delicious, fruitful grapes. While the grapes can be used for juice, jellies, and personal consumption, Chavez Brothers prefer to make wine.
